When Jennifer, Roy and their coordinator, Anne Michelle, came to us with their dream floral vision, we were ecstatic to take on a beautiful explosion of colors at Dover Hall! They mentioned a color palette of jewel-toned hues that created a blend of Summer and Fall without leaning too far in one particular direction. We are always ecstatic when challenged with a unique perspective for florals no matter what season! The couple gravitated towards lush, focal blooms and organic shapes, so incorporating florals like Juliet Garden Roses, Peach Disbud Dahlias, and Burgundy Anemone helped capture their vision.
The standing floral frames and custom mantle arrangement in the ballroom of Dover Hall created a captivating focal point where Jennifer and Roy said their “I Do’s”. Following the ceremony, the arrangements flawlessly transitioned with the reception space to illuminate Jennifer and Roy’s sweetheart table. Dover Hall’s deep red drapes and lighting pulled all of the floral hues together into a perfect aura of warmth.
As for the guest tables, there was a variety of arrangements: tall arrangements elevated atop stands, low arrangements in footed compotes, and floral wreaths to accent gold taper candles. The varying table arrangements created dimension across the room and allowed a different viewpoint for each guest table. The loose greenery down the grand staircase invited all of Jennifer and Roy’s loved ones into the space, adding an enchanting feeling that truly brought it to life. We are absolutely fawning over this wedding even months later and couldn’t wait to highlight Jennifer and Roy’s special day.
